There is just no upside to public sector theories/practices to "fight climate change". The process has served only to rather severely undermine the credibility/reputation of 'science'. Human efforts cannot possibly make any significant difference as the main climate driver is the sun. Environments are not getting 'cleaner', people are not getting healthier, in fact just the opposite as their standard of living deteriorates with needless job losses and destruction of their wealth. Probably not too much more time will pass before Canada starts seeing its own version of the Yellow Vest movement that is happening in France. History has ample evidence showing that the peasants eventually get fed up with the poppycock emanating from the elites. Perhaps the oh-so-irrational (some say criminal) carbon tax will finally push some voters over the edge.
