No doubt there are other administrative cutbacks of useless positions like the Mayor’s $100,000 communications director and who knows what other dead wood is floating around her office. Yes. Victoria could use an auditor to keep a tight eye on where our money is being spent because right now, it is being used to light big fat cigars with absolutely no idea of where it is coming from. The current council has to be one of the most fiscally irresponsible councils in the history of this city. Bus passes for homeless, cell phones for homeless which only ended up financing the receiver’s drug addictions. No common sense at all because most council members are academics who have never held a job in the real world.
