					<description><![CDATA[It does seem like 25 years ago when I introduced a motion to the Victoria Chamber of Commerce for presentation at the BC Chamber of Commerce annual convention to &quot;encourage&quot; the provincial government to establish a Capital Region Transportation Authority.  The motion passed at the B.C. Chamber level, its promotion into the provincial sphere, however, was muted as the Translink authority was increasingly seen to be at odds with the wishes of the municipalities.  So the old maxim still applies: be careful what you ask for because you might just get it . . . yet another unanswerable costly level of the public sector.]]></description>
